Too bad, so sad

I'm not sure if Khaliah is going to be a hairstylist or what, but she decided to take it upon herself to get into my hair cutting supplies and cut all of Mahlayahs hair off. Like, I mean total boy cut. It looks awful and being pregnant I flipped out and cried, cried, cried. I swear her hair is almost as short as when she was born. So, now the plan is to go to the store and buy a stock load of headbands to try and girlie the poor girl up. So sad, so sad.
Khaliahs punishment you ask? She's not aloud to go to a friends house or have anyone over. Which if you know her is a life or death sentence.

A dedication to our kitten KitCat

For Christmas we got the girls a little kitten and Taysiah named him KitCat. He is ADORABLE!! The whole family absolutely loves him...he plays with everyone, he sleeps with us at night, he follows someone around all the time so he's not alone, he likes to be held like a baby, he actually greets us at the door if we've been gone. He's so freakin cute!! The other day he actually let Taysiah push him around in her baby stoller. Well, last night the girls were playing in the living room with their crib and babies when I looked down and they had KitCat in the crib with his head on the pillow and the baby blanket on top of him. They were rocking him back and forth. When I went to check and make sure he wasn't held against his will you could actually hear him purring so loud. He loved it...who would have thought when getting this kitten we would have adopted a dog and baby all in one...lol.

Baby 4 continued...

I had my ultrasound a little while ago and everything looks perfect. The baby is measuring perfect, the heartbeat is 132 beats per minute, etc. We didn't find out the gender for sure, but the freakin ultrasound tech printed a picture of the baby stretching it's legs. HELLO, I'm pretty much an expert when it comes to ultrasounds so I'm gonna have to go ahead and say yeah it's gotta be a girl. Dustin is convinced it's a boy still, but I'll post the pic and you can tell me what you think. Total girl. There is nothing hanging and I've had 3 so I would definately know. Either way, I'm still getting excited and can't wait for the arrival.
Oh, before I go many people have been asking if I'm dying to have a boy. Answer: No, I'm not dying...I honestly would love to have another girl because that's what's familiar to me. I think that having 3 older girls it would just be easier to make it 4. I have the toys, the clothes, the experience. I couldn't imagine having a boy after 3 older girls. I wouldn't know what to do. But on the other hand it would be nice just because I know Dustin wants one so bad and boy clothes are so cute. Anyway, I hope that answers all questions.

Gotta be a girl. See the 2 legs and nothing in between?

Baby 4

So, I really wont have much to post until tomorrow, but I'm getting a lot of questions about my pregnancy and the baby. I thought I'd do a little update...
First, the bad news. I have gained freakin 20 lbs already and only being 21 weeks I am definately scared for another 19 weeks. Holy cow that's a lot and I'm really starting to feel the extra weight. In just a matter of a week I went from barely looking pregnant to looking like 8 months preggo. Dustin says I'm exaggerating, but I'll have to post a picture. YIKES. I had an appointment on Friday and since I'm considered higher risk they did a little ultrasound just to make sure the baby was developing correctly. They just glanced at the heart which was beating normal and they took a cute little picture of the profile. I go tomorrow for my real ultrasound where they measure and make sure everything is perfect. This baby looks so cute and reminds me of the other 3. And to all those wondering, I didn't find out the gender on Friday even though I was asked. I will not find out tomorrow either. Sorry mom, you'll really have to wait. I'm not gonna cave. We decided not to find out the gender for the surprise factor and because do we really need to know? Let's at least give Dustin 40 full weeks of hoping and praying it's a boy...lol. I'm already convinced it's a girl so I'm starting to think of names.
The baby moves around a lot. It doesn't matter if I'm sitting, standing or laying down, I can feel it's little legs kicking. I'm carrying pretty low, but the doc says that's normal being that this is my 4th pregnancy. I'm getting really excited for this little one now that it finally feels real. I know it will be a challange but I love my other ones so much I couldn't expect this would be different.
That's pretty much all for now, but I will let everyone know how tomorrow goes, if theres much to report.

My Momma

This weekend my mom came down to see us...It was sooooo nice to see her and get to spend time with her. We had so much fun laughing and talking with her and of course the girls were in heaven. Khaliah and Taysiah got to stay with her in the hotel both nights and they loved that. Friday we just hung out and went to Applebee's for dinner and then the girls went to the hotel. Saturday we went to St. George in search for a Chuch E Cheese, but we had to settle for this place called Pirates Island which had an arcade where the girls got to play games and play on the little jungle equipment they had. Mom and I then went out just the 2 of us for the evening. I loved it! We had pedicures, Sushi, and lots of great conversation. It's really nice to put aside differences and really get to know each other. We even shopped a little at Roberts Crafts to burn time and talked about decorating ideas and styles. It's really good to see my mom happy and laughing and to be able to enjoy the time I had with her. She left Sunday at around 2, but we had a great brunch before had and mom and I went to look at the nice houses on the hill and lounged at Starbucks.
It's so bitter sweat to be away from my family. Because I miss them so much most of the time. It's hard to always be around someone elses family and not your own. But the good part is that when I do see my family we always spend more quality time together and really do things and talk and have fun. When your close you really don't take that same time...or at least I didn't. I definatley wont got this long seeing Mom and Nathan again. The girls can't live without them and I need that time with them.

Heres to a New Year

I hope everyone had a great New Years as we had a blast. We went to an awesome party at Dustins cousins house where the kids got to play, the girls got to gossip and the boys played Rock Band. We had yummy food, even better dessert and awesome company!
I've been spending the last couple of days really thinking about my resolution for the new year and all I can come up with is just the things I strive for daily anyway. To improve myself, love my family and just overall grow. I want to keep learning. This year is going to be another big one with a baby coming in May, Khaliah starts kindergarden, Taysiah starts preschool and Mahlayah's just going to be 2. I just want an easy transition for it all. And I'm thrilled to be in my own home and start the remodeling process. Which will be a process all in its own.
Thank you to all for the cards, holiday parties and just overall support. I especially loved seeing you Nathan and Dustins favorite was probably the week and a half he got to spend with Jaysen.
Now that the holidays are over and 2009 has started I feel relaxed again and ready to get back to our everyday life!
